MEAL PACKAGING AND COFFEE HOUR at FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, SAN LEANDRO

Following 10:15 a.m. worship at All Saints
We will jointly prepare meals with folks from First Presbyterian Church 180 Estudillo Ave., San Leandro, immediately after our 10:15 a.m. worship. Those worshipping at 8 a.m. also can join us at First Pres at about 11:30. We will enjoy a joint coffee hour at that location as we assemble meals.
- the event will last about two hours
- we will work together to assemble 10,152 nutrient-rich, non-perishable meals
- the meals get sent all over the world to places suffering from hunger for any reason (war, natural disaster, famine, etc)
- there are jobs for ALL ages and ability levels! This is a truly inter-generational opportunity. If someone needs to sit for the entire two hours, there are jobs that require that. If someone wants to run around, there are jobs that require that, too!
- Each meal is 0.29 each! First Pres has committed to is the minimum of 10,000 meals @ $2,944.08. We will take a special collection Sunday morning at the service to contribute towards the cost of these meals.
