Lenten Evenings of Fellowship, Music, and Contemplation

Join us for five Thursday evenings in Lent for a contemplative journey led by John Prescott and Dale Trunk. Each evening begins with a simple soup supper, honoring the holiness of shared meal and conversation.
Following the meal, we move into a time of contemplation centered on a guiding phrase from scripture or prayer. Dale Trunk will offer teaching and meditation on the phrase. John Prescott will lead us on a sound journey meditation. He will begin by teaching us a simple chant of the phrase. Over this chant, John will create a vocal improvisation, accompanied by medieval harp or shruti box.
Evenings conclude with shared reflections and a simple form of Compline.
