EPISCOPAL 101 CLASS

This class is open to anyone, but especially oriented toward those who are relatively new to The Episcopal Church, people who are preparing for Confirmation or Reception, or considering becoming members of All Saints. It will include teachings on the Episcopal Church, the Anglican Communion, our beliefs, history, and practices. These classes build on each other as a curriculum, so it’s ideal if you can come to them all, but there is no requirement for such.

Offered Sundays in March (starting March 9) at 12:15pm in the Fireside Room. Pizza provided. Here’s an approximate list of topics (not necessarily in this order, and subject to change):

  • Episcopal Orientation: Nicene Creed, Book of Common Prayer, Catechism, Q&A
  • Social Justice: General Convention and Witness of TEC on issues of our day
  • Church Structure & History: The Early Church, The Anglican Communion, The Episcopal Church (TEC)
  • The Case for Christ film and final Q&A discussion time

Please email rector@saintsalive.net if you plan to attend (and which dates) to help with food planning, though no RSVP is required
