A Note from the Editors
It is summer and life is abundant at All Saints - so much so that we decided to to an update to the June/July Newsletter.   The regular newsletter will be back up full steam ahead coming September first.  Have a wonderful rest of the summer and God's blessing be upon you.

The Rev. Pamela Jester, Deacon,

to Begin Ministry on July 19

Newly ordained deacon Pam Jester will step into the liturgical portion of her new role at All Saints on Sunday, July 19.   Pam is entering active service as a deacon as she retires from a career with the University of California where she provided continuing education to other attorneys.   One of the distinctive roles of the deacon is to make the needs of the world known to the church, and to help the church to connect to the world, including its immediate neighborhood. We look forward to Pam's leadership in these areas. Pam has particular interest in helping to protect the vulnerable, including elderly persons and women, from emotional, physical and financial abuse.

Art and Music Festival

A Special Art and Music Festival is coming to San Leandro! It's Mulford Gardens annual festival on Saturday July 18th.  Free admission, great art and gift items for sale, wonderful live music.  Maureen Atkins will be teaching some short folk dancing sessions several times that day.  For full details:  http://www.mulfordgardens.org/ Art-Music-Festival.html  or just google Mulford Gardens 2015.

Although the most will be gained by those able to come regularly, participants are welcome to come in and out of the class as their summer schedules allow.
