Healing Ministries

"One third of the Gospel record is of the healing ministry of Jesus. Christ's disciples were sent out two by two to preach, to teach, and to heal, as heralds of the Reign of God. We believe the Church is being called today to renew this age-old commission. Through ministries of praying for the sick, laying on of hands and anointing, healing liturgies, support groups, formation and training of pastoral and healing teams, and Parish Nurse programs, the church is reclaiming and fostering the relationship between spirituality and healing within the Chrisitian community." ~ from Formation for Healing Ministry Programs

Recently, several parishoners have expressed a desire to establish a healing ministry here at All Saints'. As we consider how such a ministry might look in our congregation, it is important that we take the time to learn as much as possible, ask questions and express concerns.
