Finance Committee
The purpose of the Finance Team is to monitor the income and expenses of All Saints and advise the Vestry on related issues. The second major purpose of the team is to develop the annual budget for the next year. By watching the monthly bills and how the church spends its money and how the church receives its income, the team learns more about the tendencies that occur and develops its knowledge and ability to propose a reasonable budget.
Through this process the Finance Team saves the vestry a lot of time that it would otherwise spend, freeing the vestry to focus its attention on more significant things such as building and growing the church.
A Personal Note From Team Leader Gary Lindberg
What excites me most is asking and praying for God’s guidance and then watching how He guides us in our thoughts, discussions and decisions and how He produces the results that He chooses for His church at All Saints. God is the Alpha and Omega of everything we think, say and do for His church. That energizes me and, I think, the entire team because what we do is not about what any particular person wants but about what God wants for His church at All Saints. We have dedicated ourselves to serve HIS will.
