April Showers
April Showers serves people of the homeless community. All Saints parishioners serve at the showers themselves and prepare bag lunches each third Sunday after 8:00am worship.
April Showers occurs on the first, third, and fifth Sundays of each month at the San Leandro Boys and Girls Club from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Guests shower; select new toiletries, underclothing and socks; partake of hot soup and a bag lunch; and receive vouchers to wash their clothing at a nearby laundry. All Saints is one of ten faith communities that comprise the Interfaith Homelessness Network (IHN), which operates this program.
